When the sun shone over the sky,
When the nightingale stopped her song,
I woke up,
There was nothing but desert,
Right, left, even the sky,
Had the color of desert,
But the sky should always be blue,
With puffy clouds,
Maybe I was ill,
Maybe I was dreaming,
Maybe it was reality,
But I could feel the warm sands,
Slipping through my fingers,
And the dry desert wind,
Burning my skin,
Taking the heat to my bones,
Warming up my heart,
Melting the ice into tears,
This place was no where,
No body's land,
No body's city,
No body's country,
Not yours or mine,
Not even God's,
Where is a place that doesn't belong to
